| Atlantis ® outdoor cabinetry is weatherproof, meaning it is capable of being exposed to sun, rain, snow, and extreme high and low temperatures without being effected. All cabinetry boxes (and some doors and drawers) are made from solid marine-grade polymer Perma-Panel, which gives Atlantis ® cabinetry its weatherproof qualities. This solid material will not warp, crack, split, or deteriorate over time, and includes a UV inhibitor to help retain its color even in direct sunlight. Atlantis ® cabinetry requires little maintenance and does not need to be protected from the elements. It can be placed poolside, or on a deck or patio without covering and can stand up to anything Mother Nature can dish out. |
| Atlantis ® cabinets are constructed using the European styled full access method. Tops, bottoms and sides, made of ¾” Perma-Panel are joined together using the latest in manufacturing technology, providing maximum construction strength. Components of the cabinetry are described below. Because Atlantis cabinets are made from very dense Perma-Panel (see below) and are fully-assembled, they are heavy. For example, a One Door, One Drawer Base Cabinet 18” wide weighs 108 pounds and a Grill Base, Three Doors 60” wide weighs 252 pounds. It is highly recommended that more than one person be available to unload cabinet orders at time of delivery. |
| Perma-Panel is a solid polymer material designed specifically for outdoor applications, and is FDA approved for food contact. It includes UV inhibitors to minimize fading from the sun and the colors are solid throughout, not just on the surface. Perma-Panel is designed to withstand sun, rain, snow, saltwater, and extreme temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and below -100 degrees Fahrenheit. It is used in the marine and boating industry for hatch and live well covers, rod and reel holders, swim platforms, boat doors and cabinets, trim and hand rails and wood replacement parts. It will not absorb moisture, split, crack, rot, or swell. We provide a variety of colors to choose from to satisfy all of your design requirements. |
Solid wood doors and drawer heads are available in Teak and Cypress, two wood species often used in outdoor furniture and other outdoor applications.
Teak is esteemed across the country for its usage in boat building, fine furniture making, flooring, and marine applications. The present natural oils in Teak wood make for and extremely strong and durable material, withstanding high humidity; therefore resisting moisture and the drying effects of weather.
Cypress contains a natural oil, “cypressene”, contributing to the overall stability, including splitting and warping resistant qualities. Cypress is valuable in the following applications: boat planking, river pilings, docks, building construction, doors, shingles, flooring, garden boxes, exterior trim and fence posts.
While they are weather resistant “outdoor” woods, they do require an initial, as well as periodic, application of “Teak Oil”, to maintain their natural color. Doors and drawer heads are not oiled when shipped from the factory and will need to have the initial application of teak oil prior to installation. Wood doors and drawer heads should be removed from the Perma-Panel cabinet BEFORE oiling. The application process is a simple one – just wipe the oil on the doors and drawers with a soft rag.

| The drawer box in Atlantis ® cabinets feature ¾” sides and a ¼” bottom – all constructed of easy to clean Perma-Panel material. The drawer slide is full extension with a 100 pound load rating, a positive stop (to keep the drawer from being accidentally pulled out of the cabinet), and a lever release for easy drawer removal. The drawer slides include stainless steel ball bearings and ball bearing holders (the moving parts of the drawer slide) for a weatherproof, silky smooth action. |
| Hinges are of rust proof stainless steel construction, fully concealed; spring loaded and self-closing with a maximum opening of 100 degrees. The hinges are mounted on a base plate attached to the cabinet side. All Atlantis ® standard height cabinets feature three hinges for maximum strength. |
| For ease of installation and adjustment, all Atlantis ® base cabinets include adjustable leg levelers, allowing easy leveling of the cabinet on uneven surfaces. Access holes, with plastic cover caps, in the floor of the base cabinets allows easy adjustment after placement of the cabinets. |
| Toe cover, made of ¾” Perma-Panel material is included to cover the toe space on base cabinets. Attachment clips are included with the leveling legs to allow easy installation of the toe cover material. |
| Soft rubber door bumpers are pressed into small, predrill holes for permanent, whisper quiet closure. |

Atlantis ® Outdoor Kitchens takes great care in the craftsmanship of our cabinets. Accordingly, we offer the following warranty.
Except as noted below, we warrant to the original consumer purchaser that the Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens cabinetry, constructed of Perma-Panel material, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you own your cabinetry. Doors and drawer heads constructed of Teak and Cypress wood will carry a fifteen-year warranty. Under the terms of this warranty, Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens will repair or replace any defective materials at no charge. This warranty is effective January 1, 2009 and applies only to the original purchaser at the original site of installation, purchased through an authorized dealer.
This warranty does not apply to cabinets that are misused, abused, neglected, changed or modified in any way, or improperly installed. For Teak and Cypress wood doors, drawer heads, applied doors, etc., the warranty requires initial as well as periodic applications of “Teak Oil” as detailed in the “Care and Cleaning” section. This warranty applies only to defects and does not apply to natural aging or wear and tear. It does not cover the removal of defective material or transportation and installation of replacement material. Components and products not manufactured by Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens will carry the warranty of the original manufacturer and are subject to availability from our supplier.
This warranty is the exclusive warranty granted by Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and is further limited to replacement or repair of defective parts or materials only. Please refer to appliance warranties and specifications when installing appliances into Atlantis cabinetry. Labor charges or damage incurred in installation, removal, repair, or exchange, as well as incidental and consequential damages connected therewith, are excluded and will not be paid by Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Should you need to make a claim under this warranty, please contact your authorized Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens dealer where you purchased the cabinetry.
This warranty is our commitment to you that you will have many years of enjoyable use of your Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens cabinetry.
